About Dave Andrews
Dave Andrews is one of the two owners of STAT Heating & Air Corporation. Raul Torres is the other owner.
Dave was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA in Sonoma County. He attended university at UC Davis. After college, Dave had a very successful career in Retirement Plan Administration. He started in trust accounting and worked his way up to plan design, consulting and sales.
On the cusp of taking a partner/retirement plan consultant position with an investment company, tragedy struck. A mountain bike versus car accident permanently paralyzed his vocal cords. While still able to speak, he can only do so quietly and requires extra breaths. Consulting became a challenging option.
Unsure of what to do next, a friend asked him to help prepare tax accounting for a small plumbing, heating and air company. Strangely but fortuitously, that led to his career in HVAC.
With 15 years of experience, Dave has worked in all aspects of plumbing, heating and air conditioning. In 2024, he passed the HVAC C-20 contractor exam. In 2025, with the helpful advice of his employer, he left his job and decided to pursue forming his own company.
By the beginning of 2026 the business was operational, but STAT Heating & Air did not become what it is today until Raul Torres joined as an equal partner in June 2026.
Dave enjoys time with friends and family, pool, ping pong, kayaking, reading, home improvement, off-road mountain biking, and helping people whenever possible. Dave and his family are currently pursuing fostering a canine companion puppy.

Raul was born in Napa and maintains strong roots there.
Raul has over six years experience in HVAC and plumbing. His last position before he joined STAT was as the HVAC department manager for a medium sized plumbing, heating & air company in Marin County.
Raul enjoys time with his family, home improvement/gardening, and is a soccer coach for a youth team in Napa. He also enjoys mentoring young people coming out of high school and introducing them to the trades as a career option.
